long time

hey guys n girls long time no blog eh ? well thie thing is ive been having a cooling off month but am pleased to say am back track (well i will be , lol) am going to get at least 5hrs per week in on the ball...  MAYBE JUST MAYBE give myself another year.... yes thats right people anither ontop of th "2year" limit i gve myself. i think i took up a monster of a task doing it for 2 years and its not good. i will start up a face book page up for the rubber ball aka bobby vee. also along with this new thinking i wil pick up every rubber band i see in the street ask post men/women for bands as well (if they look dirty on the streeet i will bath the rubber band so it feels clean, lol) right on that note am off to bed so night for now :)

hi all !!!! well ive been a bit slack in adding to the ball........ ive not given up but its getting hard to get the bands for it. at first when i started it it grow so fast but now when am adding it dosnt seem to be getting any bigger. never fear tho people i will keep up the struggle and try and beat the world record... at the very least i will have the biggest rubber band ball in the UK!!!!!!! as i said ive meet all my targets so far so i am on top of it all. i will post more pics and maybe a few vids within the next month. untill then... bye :)

as you can see the pics ive put up are not in order but you can see how the ball is growing...
ill be mostly putting up pics instead of written (i will be doing blogs but probs 1 every 2 weeks).
am happy that ive hit my target but know i wont hit my next target which was 4/5ft by xmas..... ill have to try and get another target to hit by summer time then another target by xmas.....
the next target ill hit by the summer time is to get it bigger than a beech ball by summer.. ( see what i did there ?...?....??) untill i next blog again.. ill see you soon.

its ben  awhile since i last put a post or pics up but here i am posting and pics are comming in the next 7days. well ive hit my 1st targt and getting it as big as a basket ball by march, well in fact its bigger :) i will take and post pics soon.

well its been amonth now and i must say i will hit my target in march of "the rubber ball" aka bobby vee becoming the size of a basketball. ive got more rubber bands to put on  and about 900 more comming to me in the post as i write this..... i will be putting more pictures with in the next few days as you can see fromthe rest of the blog how its geeting bigger by the weeks ect.... the only thing about making a rubber ball this size is it smells of rubber... A LOT !!!!! lol so i put it outside to air it through so to speak and now its a non smelling "rubber band" ball as it stands its well on the way to beat the world record but its going to take a lot of hard work and a lot more rubber bands. right am off so untill i blog. BYE !!!!!!!!!!!! :)

as you can see from the pictures the rubber ball aka "bobby vee" is comming on well. i weighed it the other day and it comes to 5kg so its getting there.... i have more rubber bands to put on the it too. 1kg and another 400 bands so it should grow bit more.

     RIGHT here it goes...... am not too shaw if ill make the 2year dead line as i said b4 i never thought it be this hard or take this long too do. its costing more money then i first thought for the rubber bands too. i will keep on it tho and putting my rubber bands on it... am even picking up the red post bands i find in the streets to put on it as they say "every little helps"

hey well got more bands around it yesterday so it grew a bit more.... got some more rubber bands to put on with in the next few days so there will be more pictures on here soon. not long now before one of the 1st dead line dates to get to a a size..... even tho its a great feat ive taken on i di think i can do it. i do hope i can do it within 2years that ive said but if i cant ill deff beat the 4year mark as the world record is atm..

as it stands now.....

hey there people. just a update ive got 1000 rubber bands comming soon 12" long by 5mm thick so they should beef up the rubber band ball. the people who am getting the rubber bands off where very helpfull and really cool so ill be dealing with them from now on. ill be posting pictures of the rubber band ball over the weekend and also ill be putting up the site of the guys ill be getting the rubber bands from aswell.
as it stands the ball has come to a stand still of sorts due to the fact ive run out of bands,lol but am getting 3 bags over the weekend to tide me over untill the 1000 come. am hoping to get it bigger then a basket ball by the end of feb so that be a month earlier then i already planned. as i think i said before i really do think ive underestimated how a bigger task ive took on....... people at work think i have no life lol tho saying that 1 or 2 have said its a cool idea. at the min am trying to get a name for the rubber band ball so far ive come up with 'bobby vee' after his song "rubber ball"..... anyway gotta go and make food so ill blog soon :)

more rubber bands......

need more rubber bands ..... need a lot more.....  i went to a shop at the weekedend and got 3 big bag fulls now there gone... yes the rubber band ball is getting big but it needs to get bigger. so off ill go again on saturday to buy more. ive also found a web site that sells bigger bands for when it gets really big. the thing thats getting me is that how heavy its getting... by the time it gets to football size it be well over 20kg so good knows what its going to be like when it gets 3ft size. oh i know i said id upload pics over the weekend but.... i havnt so it be 2mz monday..... any ways untill then BYE!!!!!!

day 3 of "the rubber band ball" well its going well so far got given a big hand full of rubber bands that went nicely over my already growning ball. it is now starting to get big.... off to town 2mz to try and source a big bag of bands. ive looked on the net and got a few sites that am going to ring about getting big bands when needed. never know i might get some given to me, lol dout it tho :(  its saturday 2mz so no chance of getting any more bands from work and if i have no bands that means 2days without trying to break the world record... am going to start to set myslef targets of how big i want to get "the rubber band ball" by months. by thi sxmas ( 25/12/2011) i want it to be bigger then 4ft tall, am only 5ft 6"(ish) . going to upload pics over the weekend so keep an eye out for them..

day 2 of the "the rubber band ball" and its comming on well even tho i only had about 30 rubber bands  think i underestimed how many rubber bands it will take. i knew it was going to take a lot but its going to take A LOT !!!! atm the ball is about the same size as a baseball and is surprsingly heavy for its size. am hoping to get it the size of a basketball by march. i will upload some pics withhin the next few days..

the rubber band ball...... aka "rubber ball"

Hi there people :) this is my blog. am 32 years of age, male and from the uk and my mission is to break the world record of making the worlds biggest rubber band ball. today 12/1/2011 is the first day of operation "rubber ball" in my fisrt day i used all my rubber bands i had (around 100) and got a blister on my thumb :(  i will be posting pics of the rubber ball as it gets bigger. my aim is to break the record  in 2years !!!! thats 2years less then the record holder took to do his !!!!!
